Wichita IT Company Acquires Compliance Business
Offers CMMC readiness assessment and remediation

WICHITA, Kansas July 27, 2022 - Soteria Technology Solutions, a Wichita Kansas based managed services company, is announcing the acquisition of Ember Technology (“Ember”), a Wichita Kansas based managed services and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) solutions company.

“We are very excited to expand our business with the addition of Ember’s customers and CMMC compliance services”, says Bill Ramsey, President of Soteria. “Cybersecurity compliance is a large and fast-growing market segment. Department of Defense contractors and suppliers need to be in compliance with CMMC or risk losing their federal contracts.”, he continued.

Ember is one of the earliest companies to be certified as a CMMC practitioner. The company began offering services in 2020 and has grown to be a respected service provider for any company that provides products and services to the Department of Defense. “Soteria is an ideal fit for us. They are committed to the compliance business and understand the importance of CMMC in the future. Soteria also offers a strong and diverse managed services staff, capable of implementing security remediation and management.” Says Tariq Azmi, Co-founder of Ember.

About Ember Technology
Ember Technology provides Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification services. As a Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO), authorized by the Cyber AB, it provides consulting services to Department of Defense contractors to prepare, achieve, and maintain CMMC regulatory compliance. The company was founded in 2018 by Tariq Azmi and Jonathan Sanchez who had careers in tech and cybersecurity at the Kansas Bureau of investigation and in the healthcare industry, specializing in HIPAA and HITECH compliance. Jonathan unfortunately passed away in early 2022. Tariq and the Ember team are committed to honoring his memory by continuing with his vision for the company.
